Earlier this year, Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. relocated its Dallas branch to 3700 West Royal Lane. This Asian foods importer has a multi-national presence and maintains 23 offices in the United States and Canada alone. When the management team needed to outfit the building’s façade with a marker after the relocation, its representative contacted our experts to discuss the design, manufacture, and installation of a dimensional letter building sign in Irving TX.
After meeting with the client, we created a product featuring black 3D letters that name the company and then spell out its long form. We installed the elements with standoffs to allow for an impressive shadow play. The logo to the left of the letters features black, green, and red colors. Placed against the light gray surface of the wall, the dark color contrasts well and makes it easy to take note of the sign. Wismettac now succeeds in labeling its building, which makes wayfinding easy and communicates the brand message at the same time.
Relocation Signage Solutions
Moving your company to a different location is a whirlwind of logistics, planning, and IT concerns. Remember your signage, too! Our technicians routinely assist business owners with their signage needs during this turbulent time.
- Old location signage requirements. Does your current customer base know when you are moving and where they can find you afterward? We suggest banners that announce your targeted move-out date as well as yard signs that remind customers to come and look you up at the new location.
- Sign moving. If needed, our installers can help you dismantle your current signage and move it to the new location. There, we can help you to reinstall the markers that you plan on keeping.
- New location signage. Banners and lawn signs also work well when you want to announce that your business is due to arrive at the new location shortly. Some clients have had excellent success with digital LED signs that show a countdown clock until the doors to the venue open. If you need to outfit the building with signage, we can help you with that as well.
Thinking Through Signage Needs at a New Location
On the outside, the most common signage needs your business will have include the building sign, a monument, parking lot markers, and the banners that announce your grand opening. The interior, depending on the type of company you run, most likely needs wayfinding signs that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a lobby sign, directional markers, and branding as well as marketing signage as determined by your industry.
If you are unsure what signs you might need, particularly if there are already some markers on the property you are taking over, invite our experts over for a sign survey. We tally what you have, what the laws specify you need, and which markers would be advantageous to have.
